There are so many great things I can say about this game but the 2 things this game perfected were the music and gameplay

Despite playing so many games that spawned from this one I only played it recently. I thought it would have the Half Life 2 effect - good game, but maybe hard to understand why it was important.

It's especially handy to play it if you like the Netflix anime since there's not really any doubt they're heading towards this game in some shape or form.

Yep! I don't use mac, personally, but I know RetroArch, MAME, etc.. all work on macs. I'd look at a youtube tutorial so someone with a mac could walk you through it!

Circle was a great first effort but was quickly outclassed by the follow ups. Aria and Dawn are the follow ups to Rondo and Symphony. Oh how i would love to get her to play all 4. Harmony was fun but felt smaller and shorter so did Portrait,though of the two i prefer portrait.Ecclesia was meh for me

It took me like five tries before I *got* it, but man once I did...I genuinely can't stop playing it. It's become my go-to comfort game and I've finished it sooo many times.

SOTN is my comfort game as well. It just works. So many try to imitate it and a few get close, but none master the atmosphere, music, and gameplay of SOTN.

I’d settle for a PC/Steam release.
