me personally, i like it, because it feels more like an actual DEMON to me, and it fits the title, but i definitely see how the design is trying too hard.
if the goal was to recreate bendy, why would the design have things like hooves or claws?
those things shouldn’t apply to a creature meant to be going off a ref sheet like Bendy’s. it’s only there to push satanic connotations despite the fact the Ink Machine has no devil magic attached to it.

when the game was new, around the time i read the Illusion of Living novel, and i used to think that maybe the Ink Demon came across older concept designs made by Henry, one of them in particular was in fact a goat.
but now that you mention this, i think honestly a better explanation could

-have been that due to Wilson having entered this realm and experimenting on the Ink Demon, and eventually suppressing it into the Bendy form it has, its form has changed as a result of experimentation, otherwise there's no reason for it. i like it, but i now realize it just doesn't make sense
man, i am so dismayed you posted this drawing. after I had just come home to play, too. it's just not my day. i was having a happy fun time, and as soon as you posted this it began to fade
