We have 50 prisoners of conscience, around 500 unlawfully arrested, and over 300 beaten, tortured, or ill-treated. People are terrorized for speaking up against Georgian Dream, expressing their dissent, and being punished excessively and unconstitutionally with unimaginable fines,
legal restrictions and physical and psychological violence. Today, the regime in Tbilisi fights, ridicules, and disregards both the critical mass of the Georgian people and the country’s constitution.
It was speculated in the media earlier that Ivanishvili’s strongman, in charge of mass and severe beatings, Zviad Kharazishvili—the US-sanctioned head of the MIA’s special tasks department promised to crush the protests by the oligarch’s birthday.
