I can't get over how Luo Guanzhong ends each chapter in Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Written in the 14th century.

He is also the only classic writer to use the word ‘fuck’ at least in the translation I read.

this article goes over the differences pretty well. I think each of the three most modern translations have things I like about them but Im torn between the Moss Roberts and the Yu Sumei translations.
