it's geoblocked by the servers. american accounts can't access it, even with a vpn.

not totally sure how the servers work there or who hosts them.

but for the usa, our accounts and data were moved exclusively (as far as i'm aware) to oracle servers around 2022. so since oracle geoblocked and closed the servers, we can't access tiktok.

Most-if not all-good VPNs aren’t cheap, and not everyone who used TikTok has the ability to pay for one, sadly ☹️
