I had the BEST deviled eggs last week. They were topped with deep fried, finely sliced leeks. Sprinkled with Dulse. Never had a better one, ever.
I think the whole eggs was soaked in vinegar briefly too. Not quite pickled, but acidic.

I had to look up what it was. I love leeks. Mine are pretty good . I use sweet relish. Franks hot sauce . A little mustard and mayo.

Sorry! Dulse is a very traditional seaweed we eat here in the east coast of Canada. It has a lovely flavour. Quite mild and a perfect amount of saltiness.
