When they say ‘how are you?’ right in the door I’m so confused, like, are we starting now or is this still the small talk part? I don’t want to screw up the small talk.
I’m still holding out hope for a passing grade in Doctor’s Appointment (which is achievable and normal to want).
Lol, my one doc told me I was her most complex but lowest maintenance patient she had. I thought it was a compliment until I realized it was because most that came before her never actually helped 🤷♀️😂 When left to your own device
This has me thinking about the Cambridge Univ autoimmune study survey "Do you downplay your symptoms at the doctor's" "Why do you downplay your symptoms?"
I tried telling the dr my symptoms...lethargy, dizziness, chest pains. She said "That is strange. Since when?"...
Me: "The first time I came to see you... in 2023" 😶

Me five seconds later: oh, about an 8 out of 10? no, everywhere. all over. no, that's normal for me.
Me: Excuse me sir, this is not a Wendy's
Or I show them the thing as my answer, if it's a showable thing. Take off the bandage, pull up my sleeve to show the rash or bruise or whatever.
