I want to scream when the doctor mentions peri- menopause or menopause. WTF....I had a partial hysterectomy in 2009.

I lost close to 150 pounds so far. Did it make the RA and OA go away? Nope. Hit menostop, did that make a difference (other than the money saved not buying pads and replacing IUD)? Nope. Then we added Long COVID to the mix. And pain at a steady 5/6 is real.

I had a Drs appt yesterday I told him that I noticed when I took a particular anti histamine the burning pain in my arm halved, he said “oh interesting, strange but interesting” and that I could keep taking it for that if it gave me relief, but he didn’t know why. Well if you don’t know dude…..🤦‍♀️

So true, went to Sports Medicine clinic yesterday for debilitating knee pain and wasn't taken seriously at all, got no answers, she just expressed confusion that I was still in pain a week after injury from running, complete waste of time

My mother is a psych nurse and has told me all my life my chronic pain and fatigue are in my head. I'm NC now but I enjoyed informing her she isn't qualified to make that assessment since her cert didn't include diagnostics but my psychiatrist and therapist said she's wrong - and theirs did.
