I really wish this were the headline on national and local news.

Speaker Johnson says deporting 4.5 million people will be his top priority in January. Is this what voters want? We're pretty cooked as a country if so.

I see the point but caution that we have some examples from Europe that "It'll hurt the economy" doesn't seem to stop voters who are sold on anti-immigrant rhetoric. It's a foot electorates seem willing to shoot themselves in.

That’s a rather narrow and selective reading of the trajectory the far right has been on across Europe in this century. Where they’re not winning outright, they’re making huge gains.

Well, I guess we will be without produce, dairy or meat… it’s migrants who work 60% of dairy farms, pick produce & work in meat packing.
