I love my monitor, but I don’t love that it doesn’t have a camera: this is an XDR MagSafe Mount to use Continuity Camera, and finally getting rid of that ugly webcam wart 😅
That's pretty cool. I have the Belkin MagSafe one and what I like the least about it, is that it doesn't charge my phone. Turns out video calls drain battery like crazy. :D
It was super tricky to get that first layer right, I wanted to print it face down to get that nice texture from my textured plate… already ordered a 0.2 nozzle for printing text 😂 #3dprinting
I use the low temp plate with a little bit of glue stick. No more first layer issues! Every time I'm lazy and think this time I won't need the glue stick, it fails 😂
🤣 thank you 🙏
(What kind of extras did you bought with the PS1? What filaments? — I’m split between the A1 & A1 mini but don’t know what extras do I need. Sorry to keep bothering you 😞).
I’m half-expecting a follow up video of the tool you printed to escape the office when your son hung off the door handle on the other side and snapped it off 😄.
Jokes aside though, this is a pretty cool solution to the problem.

What 3D modelling software do you use, if I may ask?

Bambu PLA on the cool plate and glue stick works literally every time. I've also had good look with the high temp plate and glue stick too.
But 3D modeling is so hard - at least for me. Or maybe because I used Blender...
I guess their free version is not sufficient?

The matte PLA is pretty sweet, I also got some translucent PETG and some ABS that I have yet to try. I’m a compete noob at this point.
Now make him a Tinkercad account and teach him to 3D model. They LOVE that stuff

whats the design software called?
