(I mean, it *is* probably bad for the company and frustrating for all its workers to have such bare bones staff that pharmacists get called up as cashiers. But I can think of a whole lot of worse things as a highly-paid employee.)

Well and I totally get feeling frustrated when the pharmacy is understaffed and you haven’t had any water or bathroom breaks in 7 hours because you don’t have time to do the job you were hired for! But I’ve met a few pharmacists who act aggrieved even if we’re all caught up like it’s beneath them

I’ve also worked in an office park and when you buy lunch you have to LEAVE THE BUILDING and there’s no Tony at the on-site deli stuffing the clamshell full of as many potato wedges as will fit instead of the “correct” serving size

I literally posted a screenshot of the employee discount I got and it worked out to 11% in this case (it’s not an across the board percentage, it’s 5-10% off store brand items and then different associate deals every month)

Anyone with a phone number at Safeway gets a 1% discount, you have to do some extra stuff in the app to set up the employee discount and reactivate it every month which is annoying lol
