During my ADHD therapy, it reaffirmed how I hate being dishonest. I hated my time as telemarketer, trying to make people buy things they don't need. And in our theater hobby circles, I wanted to make sure people are not burned out. Even if it meant we would need to postpone our premiere.
It's tough in entertainment business when all you want to do is to entertain, but then you are forced to follow guidelines that hurt your creativity and passion because your brain and mind just can't follow that kind of work mentality.
I've been trying to focus more on small and independent projects. Finding those people that I can see are passionate about their work, but also keep physical and mental wellbeing in high regard.
