I "broke up" with my own father over his mindlessly bigoted republican attitudes. Haven't communicated with him at all in 12+ years. Getting unambiguous proof that he voted for the Orange Fascist at least twice was the final nail. Dad can never apologize enough to ever have me speak to him, again.

I did that last time he was elected. I kept one friend in that group... the guy who has struggled with insecure employment, housing security, and his mother's health bills who said: I voted for the other guy last time; maybe the orange one will save us.
