Oh, you're gotdam right. From the opening line: " For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a Gangster..." to the FINAL LINE: "I'm an average nobody. I get to live the rest of my life like a schnook."

Per-fucking-fection.
That long shot of Henry taking Karen through the backdoor of "The Copa", the killing of Billy Batz set to Donovan's "Atlantis", the scene when Pesci is trying to say "Hoof" to Scorsese's mom...and I'm SUCH a Scorsese guy."After Hours" is my second favorite after "Goodfellas".
"Taxi Diver" in the third spot, but "The Departed" always hangs in there for me because Whitey Bulger was a fucking BOSS. Rat, or otherwise, dude was a GANGSTER. And it all becomes this Ourobros of good dude becomes bad dude becomes bad dude??? Idk...maybe I'm wrong, but that's why I live that stuff
And "Casino" I'm a "music works great with pictures guy" so directors like Scorsese and even James Gunn, the way they USE music to tell tue STORY in their narrative FILM just blows mind. Like the way they use Johnny Cash's "The Man Comes Around" in the REMAKE of Dawn Of The Dead was just UH-MAZING
