Is wanting more democratic input being conservative? I dislike the system where an unelected person can become PM, and I'm not going to all of a sudden say I'm okay with it because this time it's a Liberal.

I didn't say it never happened, I know it did, I'm saying it SHOULDN'T because this system sucks and should be changed. It's an opinion, not a history lesson.
