People do not realize that in addition to children born with devastating critical illnesses, and those who are of low income, Medicaid partners with Medicare to cover chronic illnesses like congestive heart failure or liver failure, a well as nursing home care. Cutting it will mean people will die.

Since most people aren't paid fairly,the government subsidizes businesses in the form of food and housing and medical assistance. One way to think about Medicaid: Subsidy for business, rather than for the people who need it, because low wages don't cover workers'/people's needs.
