Don't let anyone use entitlement and SSI in the same sentence, call them on it everytime, I do, I worked since I was 8 for my dad at first, then into careers and paid into SSI, I retired last year at 71, i earned every damn cent, stand up.

The legal term for Social Security IS entitlement. That's why your Congress people call it that. Soc Sec is 100% an entitlement program, meaning the government must fund these obligations.
It IS an entitlement. You've paid into it, so you are entitled to it. There's nothing wrong with entitlements. I work all week so I'm entitled to my pay.
You are entitled to it because you paid into and earned it. That's what the word 'entitled' means. When you argue that you are *not* entitled to it, you have let the people trying to steal from you frame the argument, and you will lose that argument.
