Just listened to the 1st album as bike ride soundtrack, then read the piece when I got home. Be reassured that it is a *very* cherished, special album which sounds as every bit as good now as back then. Apparitions wonderful too. Take care x

What a wonderful read. I was 18 when that album was released and it totally absorbed me. Every AAE album did and I loved them all. Mice too. Living in Sweden I never got to see you live. 37 years. That's crazy.

A wonderful album by a wonderful band. Still get goose-bumps when I recall the live version of 'She Walked Through The Fair' at the RAH in October 1988.

I was just speaking to some other people who weren’t born when the first AAE album came out and we were saying how much we love it. I hope you know that for some of us you are our Pink Floyd/Japan/Ultravox/Kate Bush/The Cure etc.
