You can also see the difference in effort to tidy up the joint in that link attached to the clasp. It isn't soldered in either, but the genuine VCA has a neat joint that could be soldered. The other is so sloppy, solder would never run through that joint.

3 of the stones look poorly set, they're not sitting properly within the bezel. The stones also appear to be green, so it's not the onyx bracelet, it could be the malachite bracelet, but it's too difficult to tell without adequate lighting.

There also looks like there's resin or something on the bezel. It could be that the stone has broken a little since malachite is a soft stone like opal, but it looks more like a resin spill to me.
