Apparently Andrew Loog Oldham heard Pet Sounds and spent £26,000 and three weeks making the debut album by unknowns he’d plucked from the demo tape pile, David Rose and Andrew Skinner, pka Twice As Much. It’s very good Brit psych pop that never gets mentioned.
