The students who have asthma begged the police not to use pepper spray, but the police dragged them to the ground and used pepper spray. The people who took part in the actions were beaten and detained and the lawyers weren't allowed to enter the police station.

Ekrem Imamoğlu's lawyer Mehmet Pehlivan is also in custody. One of the women who was detained told that she was pulled by her hair and dragged on the floor by a policeman, he took her back of an ambulance to put handcuffs by saying that he won’t beat her.
