I mean, I like both Paredes and Suzuki, if the Cubs offer is real.

But does that mean Bregman walks and Tucker is traded?

Or will we re-sign Bregman and move Paredes to 1st?

If we don’t pay bregman this year we’re definitely not paying Tucker next year. I hate to see him go but We’d get more from trading now.

It's a soft rebuild. Get major league ready assets that are under control to fill holes that are pretty glaring on this team while still being competitive. I say trade Valdez as well if we trade tucker.

I think we're past Crane, the great owner arc and into Crane, the businessman. Honestly, if the Suzuki/Paredes news is real, I'd take that over letting Tuck walk for virtually nothing (the comp pick is in the 4th, I believe).

I like the Yankees deal better. Gil would be a good replacement for Framber if he is dealt.
