Following a meeting of the Council of Ministers late Friday, DRC spokesperson Patrick Muyaya confirmed that influenza has been formally identified as the cause of the mysterious outbreak in Kwango province.
Coinfections identified in many of the patients, including COVID, rhinovirus, malaria, etc.
