This was just beautiful! For the last five years I've been trying to take compositionally to the product level. A shared data substrate across apps will unlock compositionality in beautiful emergent ways
IDK about that, I'm just obsessed with this particular topic. Composition seems to be how biology scales up in complexity (albeit in a squishier way than strict compositionality). https://newsletter.squishy.computer/p/compositionality
My sense is LLM codegen will end up looking less like Cursor and more like evolving yeast in a petri dish. Why TypeScript, why not bytecode, or some LLM-native language? We'll have to learn to work with code beyond the limits of human understanding.
