Honestly, I feel it too, a sense of doom, of game over. All the bits falling into place, inevitably. The deconstruction of the USA as it was, the UK just politically stale, enabling Reform to just walk into power and do the same to us as in USA, the gifting of Ukraine to Putin. The light going out.

I always think about being told about the rise of fascism in Germany by a German who was living there at the time, and she spoke about how quick things changed and the constant shock as everything escalated. Everybody could see what was happening but resisting it was utterly overwhelming.
