Honestly, even if you only send for sales and new releases, it's going to reach people more reliably than a social media post.

Happy to help! There's a lot you can do with it, but I think it's easy to get in the weeds, get overwhelmed, and then not do anything. Start with sales and new releases and then, if you have capacity, you can send more from there.

I think that’s the thing, my energy is so limited I’m like I don’t want that to become like a second job basically, but if you don’t put that much effort into it then it also doesn’t seem like it’s successful. This is def. The missing piece there.

Mailer Lite is also super good - you ca try for free with a small amount of subscribers! But if you have some money to put towards it for sure get an email marketer. I do a couple and don’t charge a lot for people to sent me an outline and I do the rest including sending it out

Author newsletters are how I found new authors. An author would share what book they were reading, and then I checked it out. I ended up binge reading a whole series. Love to colour let us know what markers. Knit. Share your WIP. Connect with readers. Be authentic.
