Q4 - there's "always" time so don't feel pressured to "get responses" or "show results" immediately or even after a year+. Go at a pace that keeps you sane and balanced and get a day job if you need.

A4: I would say nobody is perfect! So don't expect perfection from yourself. Also, we work with great people, human people, who also make mistakes, so share and let people know you are struggling, and ask for help. 💛

A4: Remove or interrupt the stressful situation. This could be physical like being in nature for a different perspective & fresh air--breathing in fresh air helps a lot!
Also interrupt a stressful moment & replace negative noise & vibes w/ a positive affirmation & joyful, fun stuff.

A4: Lean on your community—we’re here and we love you! And make some time to care for yourself, even if it’s something small each day.

Remind that
- nothing lasts forever
- there's no shame in asking for help
- stop doomscrolling and get out for a walk
- switch work places if possible, meet friends, make mind therapy
- no need to watch the news, if anything is important enough you'll find out anyway

It's ideal to have a trustful support system who listen and give advice without judgment. And to also have things to do other than art/work that help you calm down! And communication with clients! And meet your family/friends often! 😊✨ #KidLitArt

Alt: I’m working on my mindset, and not being too hard on myself. So instead of telling myself “you’re so stupid” or “you’ll never make it,” I try talking to myself like I would talk to a friend. “You’ll get there” or “it’s ok; everyone makes mistakes.” #kidlitart

Alt4: 2020 gave me anxiety I had never had before. I took a step back from some big work things. I returned very gradually. I think the small steps of returning gradually made it possible even though it felt impossible. Step 1--show up. Step 2--do one small thing. #kidlitart
