Game Awards gripe: I don’t much care for the celebrity appearances or when they play music. I wanna see some trailers and awards get handed out- idgaf about the rest!

despite its popular name, it really feels like it just needs to be called something else. its not primarily a game awards show whem more than half of it is new games being revealed and other misc acts.

For sure! This was their 10th anniversary. I didn’t watch these guys in the beginning but I wonder if it started out as mainly awards and just grew into what it did as viewership and popularity expanded?
I like seeing names like Kojima pop up, I don’t care if Snoop Dog is there ha ha!
