Agreed that Russia and KSA aren’t superpowers, but given Washington’s strategic incoherence and propensity for gibberish, the playing field has been leveled.

2014 clearly wasn't a wake up call and neither was January 2017. The real wake up call was last month. Washington did what Moscow couldn't -- become the biggest threat to European collective security since the Cold War. In a decade, NATO will be stronger than ever... or be completely irrelevant.

Russia has the purchasing power of Germany. That the United States would allow Russia to equate itself with the US is astonishing. The United States has very little, if anything, to gain from Russia.

I recently spoke with a Maga asking about the whole canada 51st state thing and when i told him that a trade war would make gas more expensive he said that "Russia also has oil and gas and Trump will lift sanction when the war ends" , these guys are totally lost.
