anyway, yeah, i wasn't expecting much but just curious. tbh, i always go for the highest abv.That's my priority. Stout, ales, pilsners? meh. all the same to me. The highest i can find around here is 9.2%. 13%? You're a lucky man

thanks for this. wow. Their highest is 15.3% (Bourbon Barrel-Aged Dark Star) and, yeah, it's available all over the place (even in Seabeck, p. 854 where we live.)
(for what it's worth, we moved here 2014, p. 1,200. a drop of 28%. that's a lot.)
