Sad to see how a large amount of osrs people who moved to this app have already stopped posting. It was so nice actually seeing everyone’s posts again :’(

I fully deleted my Twitter account now, so I'm posting as much as my chronic fatigue allows 😅
But yea excitement of the rush wore off. I'm happier here though. I forgot how much joy I used to get from old Twitter until I moved here and remembered
Fair. I hope Jagex starts to take this place seriously soon so maybe everyone else will too. The twitter OSRS community has always been tragically awful but now that a good number of people split I can't imagine it's gotten any better
i think that will likely be a trend for this platform. twitter is much better about pushing things out to people on mass. bsky feels like its meant for a lot more intimate interaction
I did the same thing! Played my main since early osrs release and didn’t max until this year cuz I was just having fun. I think that can be such a nice way to play. Hope ur enjoying that max cape, I didn’t realize just how nice having one is but like wow it’s so convenient
I still see a lot of osrs content on this app. But I also deleted Twitter so I have nothing to compare it to now. The amount of interactions I see on here verses what I had on Twitter makes it a no brainer that BlueSky is the better platform for me (even if just for my mental well-being).
I keep realizing “oh god i havent posted in ages!” then remembering i never feel like anything i achieve in game or irl is worth publicly announcing anymore :’) i want this account to thrive but idk how to get past that feeling
That’s super understandable and I’ve been there myself too. It sucks when you’re not getting any noteworthy drops/achievements to post and don’t feel like you have any good text posts so you just kinda go ghost for a bit and it’s so frustrating. You’ll get past it tho, & Im here if u need anything:)
If hes making a living from his merch it kinda makes sense to still use it for marketing. I’d still doing the same if they didnt suppress every post that has a link in it 🤷♂️
Exactly this. I use twitter because I run a business thru there. And idc if people still post on twitter I just wish a lot of people still posted on here as well
Yea bluesky is definitely less hostile but it isnt gonna pay your bills. I wouldn’t switch streaming platform and risk my job for ”better vibes” so it feels a bit unrealistic to judge you for still posting on twitter lmao
??? going to keep posting on twitter because I use it to run a business…? And I never said people can’t use twitter? I just said it’s sad to see a lot of people not posting on this app anymore already.
It is sad that folks haven't made the jump yet but when Jagex hasn't really made the official jump or at least made formal RuneScape accounts for both OSRS and RS3 on here. It'll just feel like this space isn't as important though with how OSRS twitter has been of late, they need socials here fast.
Yeah I feel like it’ll take a mix of jmods, large creators, and especially if Jagex made an official account to actually have more of a shift to this app
There's already a good amount of Jmods here from what I've seen (from both games). I think the bigger thing is we need to showcase that this space is much healthier than the other mediums. I think a fun collaborative project using the community here could do wonders but we need creators to host it.
im still seeing plenty of posts, bsky doesn’t really populate your feed much unless you follow active posters. you might just need to follow more people
What Ingus has said, I check a few OSRS/RuneScape/RS3 Feeds pretty constantly to engage with more casual players to let them know we're here and trying to be helpful =)
No problem, in addition Master @goawaymebusy.bsky.social has made a couple of OSRS starter packs which I think are still pinned to their profile. Lastly @osrslabeler.bsky.social can add tags to your profile to see specific content if you so wish.
Yeah, I was just thinking about that today. I've seen a lot of artists migrate to discord servers which is a little sad, but I understand wanting to be in a safer space.
I know, I really really wish the Hellsite would just truly die already. Really sucks to see the back and forth of people flocking here and then getting nervous and going back to what they know, even if it's just miserable there.

I think it's weird that people are like, man Twitter is terrible guess I'll keep posting there, because it's all they know
You gotta participate if you want people to post here is what I'm saying
