I love traditional sketching in ballpoint pen, and I love animating digitally. For things such as inking/colouring, I enjoy either traditional or digital methods. There's just something about sketching traditionally that really feels good to me.
I took mandatory life art classes at college, which I am very grateful for though I wasn't at the time because they made me look at men's genitals.
On the upside, it forced me out of using mega large head anime proportions. Yay!
A lot, though more often when I'm doing film storyboards. Video reference use is frequent, sometimes I even film myself for specific motions.
(Yes I do have a video of me stuffing food in my face for the Kyler eating fries shot)
OKAY out of things I would actually choose to draw, I don't enjoy drawing backgrounds. They are very necessary, but I'm afraid they don't give me the buzz of drawing a ridiculous facial expression.

Of course there's favouritism, but I enjoy drawing all of them.
