3. What TikTok did for the creator economy will never be forgotten, even if the app is defunct. It revolutionized and modernized content creation and contemporary influencer practices. We have to draw on previous lot to historicize and understand this.

6. I don’t think we’re all going to be scrolling reels or shorts forever. There’s an app we don’t know about waiting in the wings, and IMO, it’s Microsoft based.

7. The new president may very well overturn this, especially now that his camp is seeing how much influencers on the app helped him get elected. I’m no legislative expert so I’m not sure how this would be overturned, but it’s worth watching.
