i'm not great at conversation by any means but i am at that point where most new friends i try to make feel dry and it's just. why is society like this. is this just a symptom of the anti social nature of social media?

Greater trending towards individualised lifestyles. Polarisation in society doesn't help either, when a social fabric is hurt, the sense of community is the first to fall victim
Being neurodivergent in such a society adds to the challenges as well in my experience, but can make up for it depending on privilege/access to stuff in general
i think- its because social media makes us all think SOOO uniformly-slowly but succeeds at it. youll see patterns with everyone. almost everyone u can fit in a box- even if u dont- social media groups you and subconsciously makes u fit in one. i miss diversity that was more than social media slangs.
