While I've been ill, I've absolutely stormed through the excellent Day of the Jackal, which surpassed all my expectations and delivered a bloody great thriller that kept me hooked for 10 eps. Big fan!

I've also just binged Amandaland in its entirety having done a lovely little Motherland rewatch in preparation.

Love the new lesbians and I cackled out loud at least once per episode. Plus, supremely comforting sickbed watching.

This week we've returned to Fargo for season 5 which is brilliant so far (only 1 ep in).

Also liked After the Party (Aussie drama, available on C4) which is fantastically written & performed - I just don't know if I can sit with such bleak subject matter to the very end...

We’ve just finished watching the second series of The Law According to Lidia Poët on Netflix (Italian historical crime!) Really enjoyed it, but haven’t seen anyone else talking about it.
