I have to admit, even as an older user, I've gotten used to 'AI' as short-hand for the thing that steals art and recommends cyanide pizza recipes.

The alarmism oozed out of that post enough that I had to look into it, and lo and behold, it's a molehill at best.

People just want to feel important, so they see something like this and (not intentionally) go "shit *I* have to do something to stop it!!"

There was a chain email going around Discord the other day about how someone from the Battle Cats Discord says that Discord will read all the replies to any tweets you link, and delete the server they're posted on if it finds anything illegal.

Multiple someones expected me to believe it was real.
