There's a LOT of hate against jimcurly, esp in the official server among the random peeps. Honestly it just kinda feels, at least from what i've seen, its taboo to ship literally anyone from mouthwashing unless its daisuke x oc and even then some people are upset about it. ):

and of course, the people arguing most of the stuff, like both of you have said earlier, are teenagers with little life experience sort of just putting a blanket statement over each character and don't want people to have fun and explore possibilities. but if you even hint curly & anya's friendship

imo I think jmcurly takes a VERY special kind of writing to work, cuz I can see j*m's weird obsession with curly
but almost 99.9% of them are handled very... uh.. to put it mildly kinda awful with a lot of mischaracterizing on both sides lmao

imo I'm kinda neutral towards it because I can see how it could make the character dynamics more dramatic and tense, plus the artists are super talented! 💕🙏 it's just not something I'm interested in though. But I'm not gonna hate on anybody for it

At least no matter what explodes in the fandom on the daily there's a good group of folks out there who can discuss/act maturely about it. I gotta focus more on that and bring positivity to the space 😌 mute and block is my friend lol
