Why don't they go after the super rich, the furlough fraud cash (and crooks), Fossil Fuel planet killers?
it’s not smart & grown up it’s the basis of conservatism
I’m off now as I suspect there’s nothing more to add.
National grid is crumbling due to criminal lack of investment.
It's not a good look to say.. we want green power and then not support the infrastructure to deliver it.
If that means making some aesthetic changes where necessary, then I’m all for it.
If buying the cables means that more wind turbines can be built then I say why not?
What’s the alternative, an uninhabitable planet?
I used to Mountaineer in Switzerland, in my opinion one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
They get it.

Yes there are some tough choices, But ingenuity in Green Energy is developing exponentially.
There will be more aesthetically pleasing developments I am sure.
The biggest hindrance is the negative campaigning by some oil companies and their paid agents.
Just look at the last few cops. More oil lobbyists than environmental delegates.
They have already filtered into the ears of this labour government to the tune of £22B for #CCS
I am a Labour member, do I like everything the Party does, No.
But I do know the direction of travel and aims.
comes a point when you have to balance what you want with what's achievable.
I Hope the Greens become a good conscientious Party, Caroline Lucas is a loss and hope they manage to settle to a set achievable agenda.
The way forward really is in cooperation, any steps forward in green energy should be celebrated.
You do you.
I don't have Roast Beef for Breakfast.
The Pylons are in East Anglia by the way.
But if it makes you comfortable to make assumptions have at it.
They wouldn't have been elected otherwise.
To say we want better power infrastructure to support Green energy, but not that one is a remarkable stance for a Green MP.
Regardless of either of our opinion he will be battered for it for the whole Parliament.
Which would generate the wealth needed to avoid the hardship that Labour claims to be opposed to! 🐘🇪🇺🐘🇪🇺🐘
Oh and btw, anyone with assets over £10M who are telling you they are cash-poor are laughing at you.
Now imagine how hard they would have been dragged if they'd introduced a wealth tax!
It's so easy to be virtuous when you have no chance of becoming the government, Carla.
