Which is terrifying when you consider all the terrible things Dishface, Osbourne, Patel etc did to people. For nothing.
They're still better than the Conservative government of the past 14 years, but they're eroding that lead with some very poor decision making

The reality is it'll be a very long process and costly to HMRC. They'd have to prove they are worth. Not easy. Very wealthy people will not just hand it over without a battle or simply hiding their wealth.
Look at the uproar that's currently going on over wealth taxes.
How big a step could this be so that the complexities of form-filling are replaced by an automated process?
