The 'record sums' they talk about were record in terms of total but take a closer look at % of GDP and purchasing power and you will find they were not record, they were not even comparable with our competitors. In fact they were real term cuts.

It should never be forgotten that all the billions wasted on useless ppe (ie given away to their chums like Mone etc), was counted as part of the nhs budget by the lying cheating thieving Tory govt.
