I suppose technically I am English,having been born there to English parents; though my grandmother was scottish so maybe I am not by her definition.I have lived in Scotland most of my life & described myself in the census as scottish! Might say I'm Yorkshire though🤭

I appear to be English, accent an all, but I am a Scot who has always lived close to Scotland, along the border. So I am also a Northerner by default. My point is we ALL are individual humans with individual histories and maps!
