You'll die from emotional whiplash trying to pull that lmao. Honestly, the show really is best when ruminate on each act for a bit. Not necessarily a whole week, but just letting it bounce around in your head for a day or two.
Every time I think about getting into it, I'm reminded of trying to play League of Legends with friends, & getting cussed out by those supposed friends for not understanding certain mechanics of the game. I don't talk to some of those dudes anymore because of it, and I've never returned to the game.
I don't play video games at all, but my adult sons do and they got me into Arcane.
From what they say it's fairly different from the game.
And it really is so fucking good.
If you get through Season 2 of 'Arcane' on Netflix, check out or re-watch 'The Magicians'! All 5 seasons are on Netflix, and it holds up as a fantastic queer show from the 2010s. Hale Appleman as Eliot Waugh, the gay High King of Fillory who is in an amicable arranged marriage, is a show-stealer.
I don’t see why Helluva Boss couldn’t throw in a reference to the one scene in Arcane S1E3 where Vi abandoned Powder/Jinx to sum up about Stella and her relationship with Octavia
💯 I watch it like I would look at an art piece. The Art Direction is flawless. Some scenes are master pieces and the character arcs and looks are spot on.
I’ve been meaning to check it out for sometime now but idk the lore because I never played the game, which sucks because I don’t have a good PC. Do I need to play the game to understand the lore? Hey Viv, or comment section I don’t care who, tell me if I need to play the game to understand the lore.
You don't need to play the game. LoL has a ton of awesome lore but very little of it is actually in the game itself. Arcane was made to be watched and enjoyed by anyone, regardless of lore knowledge or previous game experience.
There are some references, but mostly bonus stuff that doesn't detract from the show if you miss it. If you wanna get into the lore I'd suggest checking out https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/! Arcane takes place in Piltover and Zaun, but the entire LoL universe is pretty huge.
Bruh, I know!
Your series have always been incredibly in mental analysis and directing the most visceral and gutteral displays of emotion as well
The division & the racing thoughts & emotional complications between Cait and Vi is so fucking honest & well depicted and it hurts, but it's authentic af!
Adventure time is a fun and nostalgic show! But I’d say Arcane is one of if not the most incredible animated series of all time. Expect the same maturity, suspense, and emotional investment as any other critically acclaimed show, animated or not. Arcane is above GOT, Dexter, Breaking Bad on my list
Arcane has emotionally destroyed me I no longer know true happiness they killed my toxic bisexual blue haired DIY queen wife and her probably nonverbal autistic four year old
I may not be a huge League of Legends person, but I might have to check it out down the line. See what all the hype's about. But hey! If you're looking for good animated game adaptations, Castlevania's also a noteworthy series with great storytelling! Not sure if you've seen it, but I recommend it!
As someone who plays League I am honestly amazed at how much of the game they've been able to put into the show without it feeling bloated! There is ALWAYS something going on and its honestly kind of amazing!
Some of the changes are whiplashy for me but in a good way, I like this direction!
I keep thinking I’m done crying and then I’m reminded of a scene and I start crying again, the animation and emotion the show is able to make you feel is masterful

Peace be with you Viv.

So is it maybe alright then?
.....Maybe?
Watch now before the spoilers hit, people.
How many seasons do you plan to have of Helluva Boos??
Thanks for signing my hat!
You might not remember but that’s ok!
Fuck jayce tho lmao (I love him)
Stunning on all fronts. Also, still capable of ripping my heart to pieces.
Would you recommend this show?
I really do hope this site gets bookmarks soon!
With folders🙏🏼🙏🏼

I bet 2 minutes is enough.
Anyone in here have 11 PhD's to fix her!?
Do you guys advise me to watch it?
Im free for the next week.
5 1/2 "Arcane is so fucking good" out of 5.
Because I don’t have anything to do for the next days.
Some of the changes are whiplashy for me but in a good way, I like this direction!
