I'm kinda shocked you guys aren't just dropping a bunch of patches rather then waiting for a big one, it's been nearly a month & nothing on some platforms.
Where is it crashing at? I only ask because there's issues with Oblivion sometimes corrupting auto saves or saves in general depending on the whacky code in the location you're in, Dunbarrow Cave was a big one for me back in the day. Loading an older save and forcing some autos can fix it.
