He's not even a god damn class traitor he's just a sloppy liberal idk why everyone kept up the notion that he was a potential head of proletariat reformation
Dems should stand for rooting out waste, fraud, & abuse in government. Dems should preemptively submit a list to Elon and Vivek of all the items THEY want cut and then make hay about Trump cuts to social security and Medicare nationally but especially in swing districts.
Unelected billionaires should not be in charge of our government, and we should not use corrupt systems like that. They will not listen to what Dems suggest, they only want to destroy the systems Americans depend on.
Preemptively giving Elon and Vivek a list allows Dems them to campaign on Trump failing to cut actual waste, fraud, and abuse and instead cutting things he promised not to like social security and Medicare. The commercials will write themselves.
I will say that if you want to have any influence with Musk, this is how you have to do it. Musk, like Trump, will only respond to public flattery. Tragically, Musk holds the fate of millions of powerless people in his hands. Fetterman, for all his many faults, is more likely to help them than Oz.
Why yes John, that doesn’t make him an enemy. The root of why he has different politics is what makes him our enemy. He’s a billionaire that wants more money and more power. The only way he and others like him get that is by taking more of both from us peasants. Bit of course you already know that
I fcking hate being a self fulfilling prophecy. But, I was excited when he came on the scene being from PA (haven’t lived there for over 20 years.) But knowing he was a centrist and some of his comments and just knowing this type of Pennsylvania person I general I was concerned. And here we are …
I worked for him the first time he ran for senate; I had the intuition from meeting him that he was not legit. i wish I listened to it, but doing the work was very good for my career.
As long as our culture equates wealth with intelligence we’re gonna be facing stupid stuff like this. Too many people are unable or unwilling to accept that someone with billions of dollars can talk out of their ass.
Thought he looked cool back when he first started running. I was barely in my twenties and hoped he was gonna be some sort of institutional shakeup, nope just another grifter with poor fashion sense
Yes, yes he is an enemy. He is a classist. He is a misogynist. He is a racist. He is an exploiter. He is a billionaire. His values are totally different from those of us non-billionaires.
I worried Conor Lamb would be a Manchin, and Malcolm Kenyatta was unelectable statewide.
Fetterman had the potential to be the progressive voice he ran as but is more of a disappointment than I could ever have imagined and it is so sad his change has also caused Giselle to silence her own voice.
Same. I feel as if the stroke and the car accident had a major impact on his brain. Brain damage and TBI can change personalities entirely. I want to believe that is the reason for the change, not that I was totally manipulated. I agree with assessment of Lamb and Kenyatta.
it's how things have been going. dem leadership is fuckin terrified of actually being seen anywhere near actual left leaning POVs so we end up with this shit.
He seemed decent at the time of election, certainly better than Oz (or any nutjob Republican that PA dishes up)... but boy has he been an increasing disappointment since. I don't know if he could win again here, but I also don't trust Pennsylvania Democrats to come up with a good primary opponent.
so instead of a Republican, we got another Democrat who is basically a Republican? cool cool cool. I look forward to the dems getting back to 50 seats and Fetterman becoming Manchin 2.0. Very exciting.

I defended him on social media as a good progressive choice to speak to the working class.
I will support who primaries him
Lamb lost by 30 and endorsed Fetterman 🤷♀️
But kudos to PA dems for even having a primary, unlike the feckless worthless Florida Dems.
There's rhetoric and there's voting in the Senate. I just hope he votes more Progressively than he speaks.
That's how elections work...
