New reporting shows that despite the supposed unfreezing of federal grants, many Head Start centers still can't access funds, forcing them to close and leaving kids without preschool and health services and families (esp moms) without the care they need to work for pay.

Oh I mean go on strike everywhere; workforce, household, childcare, mom taxi, elder care (I know it’s not fair for the children or elders). We would grind things to an absolute sludge if not a complete halt.

They want us at home.
Every cruelty they inflict will be rebutted with “there will have to be some short-term pain” when it will not be short-term and the pain might go as far as death.

The only aim is to grind people down and make them so physically, mentally, and spiritually exhausted they can't fight back. Further impoverishing people by forcing them to have children they can't afford is a way to do this. There's nothing behind them but cruelty and a desire for control.
