No one is more autistic than anyone else.
Autism isn’t a competition.
You’re not special because you were diagnosed as a kid.
You’re not special because you were identified as an adult.
You’re not special if you mask a lot.
You’re not special if you don’t mask at all.
We are all autistic.

1- are #Abelist
2- you won’t listen to the people you are actually speaking ABOUT.
#IdentityFirstLangiage
We are #Autistic
Might be time to educate yourself - tho I wonder if you will bother..

But more importantly I think an apology is due to the #Autistic person you decided to speak over ..
That would be a good idea ..
That's cold man.
Thanks, that means a lot.
You have different levels of disability, but you’re equally autistic.
.
All of our supports needs will look different.
Some of us will navigate the world with less pain than others, some of us will navigate it with more pain.
Let’s talk about what we NEED to live to thrive.
Not make autism a performative contest
It’s ALSO super valuable, because it’s YOURS
And we all valuable and holy beings
All autistic people are disabled and require support
Some more, some less, some different than you.
All are real and valid.
This isn’t a game to win.
“Imposter syndrome” is internalized ableism.
“I don’t need help” is internalized ableism.
“My experience is harder than yours” is internalized ableism.
Give yourself grace for that fact.
We live in an ableist society.
But RECOGNIZE it.
Don’t use internalized ableism to put other autistics down or greater hierarchies.
If not for others, at least for ourselves (singular)
"Divide and conquer"
Trying to compartmentalise us all into varying groups and different levels of autism, split us off and knock us down.
We are all autistic, and we should be more aware of the variety of the condition than anyone else.
We all are.
That’s the point.
Stop putting others down.
We should all share our experiences without fear that someone will say “but you’re not X kind of autistic”.
(This is a joke)
Me, I have a rocking chair I like to sit in, I drink Green Tea and B vitamins for mood and anxiety.
Will my methods help all of us? No. Could it help some who read this, maybe.
We empower each other.
Matt!
My new bestie!
Unless you are already mad at me for calling you MATT instead of Mathew.
Then?
Awe.
MATHEW! MY NEW BESTIE!
Hey, wait a minute.
