Only Alberta would be fussing. The choice is either we grow into a powerful country or we end up living under a dictatorship. Imagine over 50 million ppl saying they want to be with us. What fun those honeymoon years would be. Much better then becoming Gilead!
Unfortunately, well funded public education is debatable, depending in which province you’re living. Same goes for healthcare. Still better than the USA though, agreed.
I politely submit to you: Minnesota. Perhaps also Northern Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. That is where I am originally from, & most people think we’re Canadian anyway. Also, Minnesota is the State of Hockey.
Hah, I did not know that! It also has Acadia National Park, shares ownership of St. Croix Island where Sieur deMons and Samuel deChamplain spent their first winter, and it's largest border crossing with Canada is at Calais, ME.
The UP was Métis territory where we received land grants for defending Canada from previous battles with the US. But after 1812 we lost our land in treaties even though Canada won.
It’s just an important part of history that’s left out in US retelling
This remind me of Austrian far right when proposed to South Tyrol regions to join them (which belongs to Italy and have kinda special rules and can behold is own taxes).
South Tyrol answered they were not moving. But if they really wanted, they could apply to become part of Italy as well.

We're already working on expanding the CETA agreement.
Would love to see Donald's reaction.
