If they'd resurrect the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, they might present a sane alternative, but this Conservative Reform Alliance party calling itself CPC instead of CRAP isn't offering a palatable path forward for Canada. Waa-ay too much of Reform and Alliance!

This will be remembered as being worse than either the Dion or Ignatieff campaigns. I've been closely following election campaigns since 88, I've never seen the wheels fall off a Conservative campaign like this... and he keeps doubling down on it.
20 plus years of PoiLIEvre being the Reformacon's attack dog have left him devoid of the ability to think on his feet. He has been a blunt instrument his entire political career.
And in that 20 years he's never shown the ability to be honest or to work in a bipartisan way. It makes it impossible to pivot because he lacks the credibility to be believed *if* he ever put the country ahead of his party.
I've followed his career since his first radio interview on 580 CFRA in Ottawa. Nothing has changed except for how he pronounces and spells his name because Harper needed a francophone candidate in Carleton.
Don't be fooled. I just looked at CBC's pollster and according to that the con(servatives are in the lead in Alberta,Saskatchewan and Manitoba as well as here in Ontario!!!

He keeps echoing Trump, he can't help himself, and that simply the wrong thing to do (for him, not for Canada). Even Doug Ford can pretend to be Captain Canada, but it's clearly beyond Poilievre's limited range.
I think Dougie is like any hash dealer, protecting his turf. And just like the mob in WWII, if our goals align(keeping Canada sovereign), I'll gladly have him on board.

I'm hoping my assumption that Canadians are smarter than their southern neighbors, holds, and that they'll reject the ever more authoritarian conservative political movements sweeping the world.
What's scary is that Kory Teneyke thinks PP could have won with a better campaign, not that it's over yet. PP is so flawed, yet Canadians are so close to rewarding him for being a POS for 20 years.
Get out and vote. Vote early or on the day, but make sure you vote! I'm voting for Carney because he's financially brilliant abd he truly cares about Canada🇨🇦

It’s probably more than that. He rode the campaign high using JT as a punching bag. Still no policies - just attacks. The threats of the US drama, combined with a new leader literally made for the challenge, it created a hope and newness, and PP became the old tired candidate.
He isn't just some "accidental candidate," some fluke or improbable embarrassment; Mr. Poilievre enjoyed the blessings of the party Kingmaker. Conservatives gladly paid $$$ so he could promote himself before he represented them!

I’m in Ontario and some of the ridings here are having the Liberal signs disappearing and being replaced with Conservative ones. So many people are waking up to find their signs gone or changed. And just read an article about a man in Toronto driving around with his son taking them during the day.
Once they lose 🤞🏻 the Conservative Party needs to purge itself of all MapleMaga and become a viable centrist -r option again. Currently there are some pretty dark characters lurking in there.
