We do appreciate your situation is not good and needs addressing but there are many, many homes that operate modern stoves effectively with no issues. Our mission is to make burning as efficient and clean as possible and to ensure it is done well, responsibly and respectfully.

Funny that is what you said to me! Implication that our situation is an exception and personal to us. The point is most people don’t know that they are being poisoned by wood smoke so they don’t speak up. Nobody operates a wood stove with no issues that is simply untrue!

There are many, many homes near us that regularly cause outrageous pollution in the street outside. All Ecodesign stoves. Some are Charnwood clearSkies models that you claim are very low emission. If you believe this is user error you'd be asking for more robust safeguarding regs. Why are you not?

Can you post a video/image of an AQ monitor held in the stream of flue gases? Have done this for gas boilers and there is negligible change from background levels. So, unless you can get similar results, it shouldn’t be considered a solution. Certainly shouldn't be marketed in Smoke Control Areas.

You must have an AQ monitor on site. If not, you really are burying your head in the sand about your emissions. Much more environmentally friendly for you to do this than expect people to travel from London. Think of the carbon footprint!

Are you going to replace (free of charge) all your earlier models that you also sold as a solution to high emissions? Why would this household, for example, using a Charnwood C4, regularly causing extreme pollution levels in the neighbourhood, pay £3750 to upgrade when the fumes don't impact them?
