(NATO did not occupy any country nor force any country to join..Counties democratically chose to apply owing to concerns about Russia;
& realised so with regards the applications of Finland & Sweden.
Existing members democratically debated the applications before accepting them)

Finland joining is a strategic disaster for Russia, showing Ukraine war as a disaster. That said, Russia’s capture of theUS presidency is a triumph and potentially muzzles or emasculates NATO. Europe (incl UK)needs to accept that the US is deeply compromised and make other arrangements.

Because Russia does not really believes in Ukraine being independent country. They consider it a breakaway region of Russia.

And they accept (to some degree) that Finland is a seperate country.

But the truth is it's all about rare metal deposits in Ukraine.
